Ms. Metrio is a Licensed Professional Teacher and a Lecturer of the Department of Home Economics, where she teaches classes on Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Education and Family Life and Societal Development. She holds a degree in BS Home Economics, Cum Laude, from University of the Philippines Diliman. Currently, she is taking up her MA Education, Major in Educational Psychology, from the same university.
Since 2019, Ms. Metrio has served as a Project Assistant for the Department of Home Economics Education. She also previously worked as an Instructor at the University of the Philippines Integrated School, where she also served as the Food Service Manager. Presently, Ms. Metrio is a member of the Philippine Association for Technology in Home Economics in State Colleges and Universities (PATHESCU), Inc., where she serves as the Copy and Layout Editor.
