The month of May has been a month filled with words of wisdom for the HEEd 233 Family Entrepreneurship Class as they learned straight from the stories of successful entrepreneurs of leading household names in the country.

On May 15, 2024, Mr. Jose “Jomag” P. Magsaysay Jr., CEO of UP Gyud Food Hall and co-founder of Potato Corner shared the formula for “How to be a Great Entrepreneur.” Mr. Jomag also shared the success story of Potato Corner, how it grew from a small food kiosk to being the household name it is today, tagged the World’s Best Flavored French Fries.

Then, on May 22, 2024, our students and teachers learned from Ms. Lolly Tiu, dubbed as the Queen of Pares and the owner of Jonas Pares. Our students gained valuable insights from Ms. Lolly’s inspiring entrepreneurial journey.

Students and teachers alike gained new knowledge and greater inspiration as they each explore their entrepreneurial journeys in the future, all while filling their stomachs with generously sponsored snacks from our esteemed speakers.
