The Department of Home Economics Education Celebrates Faculty Re-election to ARAHE Leadership at 22nd Biennial Congress

The Department of Home Economics Education is proud to announce the re-election of esteemed faculty members during the ARAHE 22nd Biennial International Congress 2025 held at the Manila Prince Hotel on August 7-10, 2025 with the theme “Empowering Future Generations: Home Economics in the Age of Advanced Technology.”
During the congress, Associate Professor Joanne R. Bantang was re-elected as the Assistant Secretary with Assistant Professor Mary Justine Clarise A. Trinidad Justine as the Executive Council Member for South East Zone 2 for the years 2026 and 2027.
The department extends its heartfelt congratulations to both individuals on their re-election and look forward to their continued contributions.
This achievement reflects not only the dedication of these two outstanding individuals but also highlights the department’s strong commitment and leadership in the field of home economics. The department remains dedicated to fostering excellence in education, research, and community service, aiming to improve the quality of life for communities throughout the continent.
The 22nd Biennial International Congress of ARAHE was hosted by the Philippine Home Economics Association (PHEA), in partnership with the Philippine Association for Technology in Home Economics of State Colleges and Universities, Inc. (PATHESCU) and the Organization of Technology and Livelihood Education Educators of the Philippines, Inc. (OTLEEP).
Established in 1983, The Asian Regional Association for Home Economics (ARAHE) provides Asian Home Economics Professionals with a valuable platform to gather and discuss recurrent issues related to everyday life and society from Asian perspectives, serving as the Regional Organization of IFHE.
