The Faculty of the Department of Home Economics Education leads in the Filipiniana-inspired Dress Code in their latest department photoshoot, embodying cultural appreciation and a strong school spirit!
Last March 3, 2025, the Office of the Chancellor released a memorandum regarding the internal guidelines on dress code and employee conduct. To be specific, particular attention is drawn to the mandated dress code of having the employees wear ASEAN-inspired clothing or accessories every first Monday of every month and Filipiniana-inspired on succeeding Mondays. The memo also states that for regular days, employees are expected to wear smart casual attire and may align with the employees’ gender expression.
The DHEEd Faculty is already one step ahead in compliance to the memo as they eagerly pose in their Filipiniana-inspired clothing and accessories in their newest department photoshoot. Not only did they show their Sablay costumes in their ever-fashionable, modern takes on the Filipiniana outfits, they also showed versatility in their chic formal attire. On top of that, they also showcased their fighting maroon spirit in their UP-themed ensemble that perfectly encapsulated their avid school spirit!
The commendable example of the faculty with their stylish and trendy showcase is surely an “outfit inspo” for everybody!
