The Department of Home Economics Education is thrilled to announce that Asst. Prof. Aurora S. Llige has been appointed as a Faculty Affiliate at the TriCollege Ph.D. Philippine Studies Program. Effective from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2027, this new role highlights Asst. Prof. Llige's growing academic contributions and the recognition of her expertise in her interdisciplinary field.
As a Faculty Affiliate, her tasks revolve around teaching core courses, serving as a dissertation adviser or panel member for graduate students, actively contributing to curriculum and program development, and participating in Tri-College activities.
The TricCollege PhD Philippine Studies Program focuses on developing scholars who are actively involved in understanding and addressing issues surrounding Philippine society and Filipino identity through multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary lenses. This program is offered jointly by the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP), the College of Arts and Letters (CAL), and the Asian Center (AC).
