The program started with some opening remarks from the Department Chair, Asst. Prof. Justine Trinidad. The guests then enjoyed a short icebreaker in the form of a Calamansi Relay. Afterward, the department recognized the graduates and gave them pins as tokens.

For this graduation, the department proudly presented seven graduates from BS Home Economics and one Master of Home Economics graduate. For the first time, the department also recognized the achievements of the graduates through different awards. Raisa Nicole P. Pariñas was awarded the Academic Excellence Award for obtaining the highest Weighted Average Grade in her batch at the BSHE program. The Academic Distinction Award for those with a Weighted Average Grade of at least 1.45 and the Academic Merit Award for those with a WAG of at least 1.75 were also awarded to deserving graduates. 

Before the program ended, the graduates gave a short message to the department. This was followed by some messages from the faculty members and staff. Finally, the party ended with a salu-salo, a delicious treat for the graduates.
