The Department of Home Economics Education blooms with pride and joy as they celebrate the achievements of their student athletes and achievers for the First Semester of A.Y. 2024-2025.
“Sakses ka eh! Bigla kang sumakses! Pero step by the step pala bago ka sumakses” is a popular meme circulating among Filipino netizens today and while it has its comedic undertones, it perfectly encapsulates the journey that our student-athletes and achievers had treaded before reaching a triumphant half-way mark of the academic year.
Every semester is no easy feat. There is already immense pressure to do well in our classroom and adding another load of responsibilities from outside of the classroom, it, admittedly, gets all very overwhelming at times.
However, a unique group of individuals has powered through such pressures and came out stronger, better, and thriving within and outside of the classroom.
